I don't believe this, I just erased my 1st blog.....here goes again. This is about my 1st trip to Lave Havesue Az. It was a blast. Rich, Betty and I met up with Steve, Alex and Diane there on Friday night. We got to camp site Crazy Horse about 9:30-10ish. Steve had wonderful kabobs ready for us. We ate and laughed. Then Rich and I climbed into the bed of the truck for a night of roughing it. My pillow was soaked and sleep came on and off. I'd get stiff and move to a different position then sleep a little longer. A breeze started in the wee, wee hours of the morning cooling things off a tad. About 5 mother nature started calling. We had to drive up to the bathroom, on returning we decided to finish our rest in the comfort of the car seats!!! I think they call this Hilly Billy Camping :) We dined on twizzlers and pretzels for breakfast and played in the cool water. Steve, Alex and Diane took a kayak ride to the London Bridge. Then we all took turns kayaking in waters close by. It was so much fun. After cleaning up and checking out of our fine accomidations. With a promise of an air mattress and cooler weather before I'd do that again! We were off for lunch by the London Bridge. It was so much fun. The boates sped past the windo and we could see the bridge and the surrounding mountains. It is so beautiful there. Every one should go once. We walked around the edge of the lake and looked in the shops and at the boats and became very hot again. Time to go home. A quick stop at Starbucks and we were ready for the last lap of our weekend adventure. The drive home was georgeous. I was sad I forgot my camera. Rich tried to take pictures with his phone. If I had it to do all over again........Yes I would. They are memories we'll have forever.
Busting my but trying to help Betty out in the water!
